Open to Junior High and High School Students
Here are some ideas about what you can include in your video:
- How you can step in and stand up to people who bully
- How to provide support to victims
- How to help people who bully
- How to deal with cyber violence
- The role that bystanders have in bullying
- The effects of bullying on the bully, on the victim, on bystanders, on your school.
Prizes:
- Three top prizes of $100 each
- Every video will be entered in a draw for $300 for their school
How to submit:
- Videos should be between 1 2 minutes each
- All content must be appropriate and without offensive language
- Preferred formatting for video submission is .wmv (.avi format will be accepted)
- Save videos at highest resolution possible (minimum of 320 x 240 pixels)
- Burn onto a CD
- Do not add video effects or overlay music to videos
- Include your name, age, grade, and the name of your school
- Send to Eastern Region Committee Against Violence, Suite 304, 105 Manitoba Dr, Clarenville, NL, A5A 1K2 by February 8th, 2010. Entries must be postmarked by midnight on this date.
- On-line or late entries will not be accepted.
